4-H

What Is 4-H All About?

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H is about having fun, learning, exploring and discovering. In 4-H, young people make new friends, develop new skills, become leaders and help shape their communities.

Who can join?

4-H is open to everyone. If you are between the ages of 8 (and in the 3rd grade) or 9 years old and 19, you can become a 4-H club member. Younger kids ages 5-8 can also get involved through Clover Kids activities. There is something for everybody in 4-H.

How do you join?

Contact the Palo Pinto County Extension Office at 940-659-1228.  We can provide you with information about enrolling as a 4-H member and 4-H clubs near you.  Palo Pinto County 4-H currently has six 4-H clubs.
