Exhibitors who plan to participate at the 2022 District or State 4-H Horse Shows will are required to validate their horses by April 15, 2022. You will need to be able to access your 4HOnline profile to complete the validation process. If you cannot log in to your family profile, please give us a call at 940-659-1228. If you plan to show a steer at a major stock show in the fall of 2022 or spring of 2023, you will need to order your validation tags by April 20, 2022. The tags are $20 each and that needs to be paid when you order. Steer tags can be ordered by using the order form below or by visiting the Extension office at 221 S. 5th Ave., Palo Pinto. If you plan to show a pig at the 2022 State Fair of Texas or Heart O' Texas Fair you will need to order your validation tags by April 20, 2022. These tags will be $15.00 each. If you plan on showing a heifer at the 2022 State Fair of Texas or Heart O' Texas Fair you will need to order your UINs by April 20, 2022. Heifers that will show in the Spring of 2023 can be validated at a later date. Heifers are only required to be validated once in their show career unless the ownership has changed. 4-H & FFA exhibitors need to bring steers & heifers to the Expo building in Mineral Wells from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to be validated for county and state shows. If you missed the tag order deadline, we can still order late tags up until June 1st. If you are validating a heifer be sure to bring her registration papers.
