The date for county and state steer validation has been set for Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Expo Building in Mineral Wells.  If you are a 4-H or FFA member who plans to show a steer at the County Show or a Major Stock show in 2018, your steer must be there between 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. to be validated. This meeting will be at the Extension office at 6:00 p.m. and is open to all parents and 4-H’ers that are interested in participating in the Food & Nutrition Project this year. We need your input to decide contest dates, workshops, etc.  

This workshop is for anyone interested in participating in Food & Nutrition contests this fall, such as Food Show, Food Challenge, or Nutrition Quiz Bowl. The class will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Extension office in Palo Pinto. The agenda will include a variety of  learning sessions and some fun hands-on activities.  Please  RSVP to 940-659-1228 by Monday, September 25th if you plan to attend.
