4-H members who plan to show a steer at the 2019 State Fair of Texas or at a Major livestock show in 2020, must order their validation tags by April 18, 2019.  Major livestock shows include Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, San Angelo, or Austin.  Please contact the Palo Pinto County Extension Office at the number above to place your order.  The tags will be $15.00 each and should be paid for when they are ordered. The Record Book Workshop will be held at the Extension office in Palo Pinto beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Please RSVP to 940-659-1228 if you plan to attend.  This is a great opportunity to work on your record book, and have some one on one instruction to make your record book more competitive.
