2019 Palo Pinto County Food Challenge Guide
Please join us for Livestock Judging Practice on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Extension office in Palo Pinto. Those who are interested in participating at the District 3 4-H Livestock Judging contest on November 6, 2019 are encouraged to attend practices. This workshop will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Extension Office. The Livestock Skill-a-thon contest tests a 4-H member’s knowledge and comprehension of animal science and livestock management practices. The contest provides an opportunity for youth to gain and develop production livestock skills and life skills through a competitive environment. This contest consists of breeds of livestock, livestock equipment I.D., a wool judging class and meats judging classes. A study guide will be handed out for kids to study.
