This workshop will be held at the Extension office at 6:00 p.m. and will help participants learn more about the Meat Judging Contest and how it works. It will also be a good practice for those who participated in this contest last year. Please let us know if you plan to attend by calling the Extension office at 940-659-1228.  The District 4-H Meat Judging Contest will be held March 21, 2019 in Stephenville.

4-H members who plan to show a steer at the 2019 State Fair of Texas or at a Major livestock show in 2020, must order their validation tags by April 18, 2019.  Major livestock shows include Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, San Angelo, or Austin.  Please contact the Palo Pinto County Extension Office at the number above to place your order.  The tags will be $15.00 each and should be paid for when they are ordered.
