4-H members who plan to show a steer at the 2024 State Fair of Texas, Heart O’ Texas, or a major stock show in 2025 will need to order their state validation tags by April 5, 2024. The tags are $25.00 each and that needs to be paid when they are ordered. You can use the order form below or stop by the Extension office at 221 S. 5th Ave. in Palo Pinto to place your orders. Steer validation will take place in June.

4-H members who plan to show a heifer at the 2024 State Fair of Texas or Heart O’ Texas will need to order their state validation tags by April 5, 2024. The tags will be $25.00 each and that needs to be paid when they are ordered. Heifer validation will take place in June. Heifers that will show at major shows in 2025 can either order tags now, to be validated in June, or order tags in August, to be validated in October.
