It’s time to order tags for new heifers that will be showing in 2025 major stock shows.  These shows include Fort Worth, San Angelo, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin.  Tags are $25.00 each, and that needs to be paid when they are ordered. Tags ordered after the deadline of September 6th will be $30 each.  Heifers are only required to be state validated once in their show career unless you are changing ownership.  If you ordered a tag for June validation, but didn’t use it, you will be able to use it for validation in October.  Please call the Palo Pinto County Extension office at 940-659-1228 if you have any questions.
