Attention heifer exhibitors!!!

If you plan to show a heifer at a Major Show in 2024, it’s time to order your validation tags if you haven’t already.  If you ordered a tag for fall shows, but didn’t use it, it can be used for validation in October. Tags are $25.00 each, and that needs to be paid for when you order.  You can stop by the Palo Pinto County Extension office Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm to place your order, or you may use the order form below.  Heifer validation for county and major shows will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Expo Building in Mineral Wells.  You must bring a copy of your heifer papers to validation.  The original heifer papers must be in the exhibitor’s name by November 1, 2023.  Heifers are only required to be state validated once in their show career unless they are changing ownership.
