Attention 4-H & FFA Steer & Heifer Exhibitors

The date for county and state steer validation has been set for Monday, June 18, 2018, at the Expo Building in Mineral Wells.  If you are a 4-H or FFA member who plans to show a steer at the County Show or a Major Stock show in 2019, your steer must be there between 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. to be validated. County entry fees will be due at this time, as well as state validation fees, if not previously paid. It is important that the exhibitor and a parent are present for validation to fill out paperwork, so please make plans to attend.  If you have questions, please call the Extension Office at 940-659-1228.

Also, any heifers that will be shown at the 2018 State Fair of Texas will be validated on June 18th as well.  Please have a copy of your original papers with you on validation day.
