Palo Pinto County Livestock Association Ambassador Program
Welcome to the Palo Pinto County Livestock Association (PPCLA) Ambassador program application process.
The PPCLA has been, for many years, represented by a Rodeo Queen and Princess. Last year, the association started the Ambassador program in order to be able to offer the opportunity to represent our organization to both males and females, to allow younger students to participate and to not limit someone due to not having a horse or being able to ride (which is part of the Queen/Princess program). We will be choosing a Senior Ambassador and a Junior Ambassador to represent the PPCLA in multiple ways. This program is open to boys and girls enrolled in a Palo Pinto County FFA or 4H program.
The guidelines are as follows…
All applicants must be enrolled in a Palo Pinto County FFA or 4H program
Senior Ambassador will be in grade 8 through 11 as of September 1, 2020
Junior Ambassador will be in grade 3 through 7 as of September 1, 2020
Applicants will have to complete an application to be considered. Those are available in print or by email if you choose to print it yourself.
The senior ambassador will receive a jacket and long sleeve button down shirt with the PPCLA logo on them, as well as a $500 scholarship.
The junior ambassador will receive a jacket and a long sleeve button down shirt with the PPCLA logo on them.
Chosen Ambassadors will be required to sign a contract agreeing to represent the PPCLA in a respectful manner and be available to attend events held by the association as well as other guidelines. The details will be available in the contract and can be made available through email if an applicant would like to view it.
Please read the application carefully, as any application not correctly filled out will not be considered.
Winners will be announced at the PPCLA Stock Show on Saturday, January 9, 2021 and will serve until the 2022 winners are announced at the 2022 PPCLA Stock Show.
